Sarah L Harris, Halifax Lawyer

Sarah L Harris, Halifax Lawyer

In June 2002 I was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society. Fourteen years later, I find myself happily practicing law and helping families from all around Halifax.

Professional highlights for me have included representing clients before the:

  • Supreme Court of Nova Scotia (Family Division)

  • Supreme Court of Nova Scotia (Trial Division)

  • Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.

  • Administrative tribunals

  • Review boards

  • Small Claims Court

I've always tried to give back personally to the profession and those who need legal services. My work with the Parent Information Program, developed by the Nova Scotia Department of Justice and hosted at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia (Family Division) Courthouse has been a both rewarding and meaningful part of my career,

Mostly what I've grown to love over my career are the people I get to meet and problems I'm entrusted with helping solve. That trust means the world to me. It's why I come to work every morning.
